I lost all my overtime at my place of work, I am used to having $1200 every two weeks but now that all the overtime has been cut I only make $650 every two weeks, have a $500 a month car payment plus am in the payday loan places about $1500 I can’t pay the minimum on the payday loan places and since I am in alot of trouble now, I can’t afford to have the payday loan places running checks through my bank account then I am seriously out of money to the point where i can’t pay rent and also won’t be able to pay the car payment either on $650 every two weeks.

I’m planning to possibly move out of my family home and move in with my boyfriend. Of course that means my mom would no longer be paying for my education. I would have to get a full time job, but I may want to take a class or two on the side. I should definitely be able to get financial aid since I would be going from a $200,000 household income to a $15,000 household income. But I’m just not sure if financial aid is even an option if I just want to go to school parttime.

I want to do financial planning on a part time basis. I have a decent career in banking that I’m not ready to walk away from. I have the right academic credentials for financial planning, I have a masters in finance, undergraduate in business and a certificate in personal financial planning. Still if prospects ask I don’t plan on misleading them. I will tell them My full time job is in the general finance area of banking but my academic background is well suited for financial planning. Do you think it will be difficult to obtain business without being on a full time basis?

I mean, I know it’s harder to get a job, but you can always get one at a McDonald’s or Starbucks. And in the mean time you could go to college. Then 4 years later, you could get a degree and start teaching, which would bring in a decent salary. Not rich, but enough to survive definitely. It just seems so simple, doesn’t it?
But just to clarify, you should have gone to college in the first place. And anyone can go to college as long as they get accepted, because many like Darthmouth pay full tuition for households making less than 60k.

I have financial aid at a University and I signed up as a full time student (when filling out the fafsa). However, I may need to drop a class and it’s too late to pick up another class. I will then be technically a part time student, even though its the ninth week of the quarter. What will happen with my financial aid and what do I do?
