It is hard in these times to get help but here are some suggestions. Contact you local county overnment office because some do offer help to local residents in time of need. Contact your local Congressman and ask how to get help with public aid. With aid you can get more than just help with food purchases.

I doubt if a loan is possible when you are already having trouble with paying the rent now.
