For fafsa once in every year to get surprising amount of aid highly depends on your economic situation like your income dependence part time or full time.
For fafsa once in every year if you are independent and earn more than that file every year to get.

You fill the FASFA out every school year while you are in college. After you do your taxes get it filled out. That will also help you with grants. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS!!
