From your significant other? What if your female friend comes to work the next Monday and flashes 5 carrots in your face….gleaming lol? How do you feel when you tell her that you only got a kiss and a pat on the butt?

That would be fine, and also a nice handwritten card or a flower would be nice. Something a little extra (not necessarily expensive) that says “I didn’t forget about Valentine’s Day, I just don’t have tons of money to spend… but I love you a lot”.
I’ve had boyfriends bring me a balloon and a flower and that was enough.
