I am currently on the waiting list for a class that would bump me up into full time status. I only got $500 because I am part time. I was wondering if I would be able to go to my campus financial aid center and ask for more money since I would be finally a full time student? The week coming up would be the third week into school. Thanks.

I have applied financial aid as full time students, however, some of my classes still on wait list now, so the university considered me as part time, so they gave me less amount of grants and aids than last quarter, but when classes start, i will definitely will be able to become full time. Will i get all my aids and grants back/the same as last quarter? Thanks a lot!

I’m employed part-time at a financial planning company and, earlier this year I got my state life insurance license through their “sponsorship.” I want to leave but I don’t know how it will affect (the ownership of) my license. I’ve reread the employment contract and it doesn’t mention license portability.

I am planning to go back to school to finish my bachelor’s at a California university. Is there any blogs or websites that can help me obtain any financial aid or scholarships for part-time and full-time student?

I am planning to pursue my bachelors at CSUEB on Winter 2009.

For instance, if you applied for financial aid for college and they give you enough for one year then you get a full time job and apply for financial aid next year does it drastically affect the amount of financial aid you are going to get? Is it better just to work part time rather than full time?

I am a college sr. who is registered for 11 hours and wait listed for an additional 4. I am concerned I will not be eligible for financial aid because I am technically part time until the wait listing comes off. There is no guarantee that it will either. Should I find another class and drop the 4 hour one altogether? Should I add another class and keep the 4 hour class in question, or should I wait and hope to get into the class I need?

Also, yes, I DO need this class to graduate.

I’m planning to possibly move out of my family home and move in with my boyfriend. Of course that means my mom would no longer be paying for my education. I would have to get a full time job, but I may want to take a class or two on the side. I should definitely be able to get financial aid since I would be going from a $200,000 household income to a $15,000 household income. But I’m just not sure if financial aid is even an option if I just want to go to school parttime.
